This picture is such a great illustration of the dedication surgeons put into their craft.
It was taken around 9pm after last nights lab.
Upon finishing long days of clinic and surgery, a group of residents, fellows, and attendings made their way across town to attend an ankle fracture lab we hosted.
We spent about 2.5 hours between lectures, discussions, & lab time.
As the lab was winding down and at the time when most would be racing to get home, Lyndon Mason Jonathan Hook Conor Salvino, DPM and a group of residents & fellows stuck around for an impromptu “campfire chat” where they reviewed past cases and shared ideas 💡
I assume most didn’t get home until after 10pm and were probably up at 5am this morning to do it all over again.
When is Nike going to start giving contracts to some of these amazing people…
